SPECIAL COLLECTIONS AND ARCHIVES
LJMU has a huge range of resources with particular strengths in Liverpool and the history of popular culture, ranging from The Frankie Vaughan collection to the world’s largest collection on Punk, the Everyman theatre archive and the Liddell Hart archive of fashion, via the Paul McCartney Archive

For access to Special Collections books and theses, please obtain a request, please complete a request form from the Aldham Robarts Library. The item will ordinarily be ready for you on the next working day.Please note that items from all of the Special Collections and Archives are for reference use only, and under no circumstances may they be removed from the Library.
The fragile, rare or sensitive nature of some items may require you to use them in a supervised area and/or to wear protective gloves. In all instances photocopying is at the discretion of the LJMU Archivist.
Access to our Archive Collections is by appointment with the LJMU Archivist and if you are visiting from outside LJMU, particularly if you have a long way to travel, it is strongly recommended that you contact us in advance of any proposed trip.
